Each time I come to hamilton from Ottawa to bring my son to McMaster University. I stop here, start with a egg benedict then the cinnamon pancake. This is the breakfast place all want. They should franchise and come to Ottawa.

Breakfast on Snow Day! We went to the Maple Leaf Pancake House the day before Valentine’s Day, the morning after the biggest snowfall of the season. We thought that was a good idea… So did everyone else! The restaurant was almost full with students, friends, families — as it is so often. The kitchen kept up with the steady run of orders, the service was welcoming and cheerful, and the food was great. Easy to relax, have a conversation, eat well, enjoy the coffee. This favourite breakfast spot has been a landmark for so many years for good reason. The best in Hamilton for breakfast, and an easygoing diner brunch or lunch. I’ll have the Special #4!

This is my favourite breakfast restaurant in town!The food is delicious, with significant portions and an excellent price. The service is always great, and the restaurant feels like a good homemade Canadian restaurant.I visit them regularly, and they already know my wife’s and my favourite custom omelette :)100% recommended.

Friendly service, delicious breakfast, great prices. Waiters all very helpful and nice, always busy on weekends and good for big groups (lots of seating). Prices range from 6-12, very affordable and student oriented. Portions fairly large, the coffee is good.

Unmistakably beautiful! The crew are A-mazing and the environment is truly engaging! And the food is excellent! Or should I say, EGG-celent (as far as the breakfasts go!!!)!!! Been eating there almost everyday - EVERYDAY- for the past ten years now!
